Ride Booking System (Backend)
Built with Node.js and PostgreSQL, leveraging PostGIS for efficient geospatial queries to match users with nearby drivers. Implemented an event-driven architecture to continuously log and track driver location data for full traceability. Real-time driver locations are maintained in Redis and updated via WebSockets to ensure low-latency access. The system follows a microservices architecture, with KrakenD serving as the API Gateway for scalable and secure request routing.
